Adare & District Nursing Home is a luxury purpose built home comprising 84 beds with a mix of single and twin rooms, all en-suite.

A choice of lounges are on offer for watching TV, socialising with other residents, reading or playing cards.
A bright sunny dining room provides an opportunity for socialising, or meals can be served in rooms if requested.

Outside is a landscaped garden with paths for residents to exercise and enjoy the scenery.
The Home is situated on the main Limerick - Killarney Road, the N21, 2.5 miles outside Adare Village.
The home is part of the Irish owned Mowlam Healthcare Group, providing superior care for all its residents at homes located throughout the country.

The Nursing Homes Support Scheme provides financial support towards the cost of long-term nursing home care. Under the scheme, people who need nursing home care have their income and assets assessed, and then make a contribution towards the cost of their care based on their assessment.

The HSE will pay the rest, if any, of the costs of their care in designated public and approved private nursing homes covered under the scheme. People can choose care in any of the nursing homes included in the scheme provided that the nursing home can cater for the person's particular needs and that it has a place available for the person.
