Kiltormer Nursing Home is a family run business in operation for 22 years providing 24 hour care with highly qualified and experienced staff, delivering a very high standard of care in a friendly and homely environment.

Care is provided both for long and short term residents.

Kiltormer Home is a purpose built Nursing Home on ground level, situated on the outskirts of Kiltormer village a short drive from the townlands of loughrea and Ballinasloe in Co Galway and is also within walking distance of local amenities.

Kiltormer nursing home consists of 18 rooms with private and semi private options. Each room is equipped with tv point and a nurses call system.

What is the Nursing Homes Support Scheme?

The Nursing Homes Support Scheme provides financial support towards the cost of long-term nursing home care. Under the scheme, people who need nursing home care have their income and assets assessed, and then make a contribution towards the cost of their care based on their assessment.

The HSE will pay the rest, if any, of the costs of their care in designated public and approved private nursing homes covered under the scheme. People can choose care in any of the nursing homes included in the scheme provided that the nursing home can cater for the person's particular needs and that it has a place available for the person.
